Spanish Merino lambskin comes primarily from southern Europe, where the animals live freely from birth in early spring until they are slaughtered in the fall. The fleece is a by-product, as the animals are kept for their meat and highly desirable soft wool.

Nappalan means that the leather side has had a foil applied to it, leaving it smooth as if it were nappa leather. Nappalan works perfectly for all types of reversible garments and is slightly water and dirt repellent compared to suede. If you use nappa leather for outerwear, it’s a good idea to treat all seams with waterproofing spray.

Spanish Merino is known for its very light and soft fleece. The light wool with a firm curl is perfect for dyeing bright, beautiful colors. We are happy to supply special colors, and dye according to a sample or pantone.
